Weng Jianrong and his entourage went to the Huzhen Middle School relocation project, Changer Intelligent, Xiao Te Xinkang and other projects and enterprises to conduct research and listened to the reports on the cultivation of small towns in the town of machine tools and towns. In 2017, the machine tool town completed a fixed asset investment of 725 million yuan, 71% of the characteristic industry investment, and non-government investment accounted for 91.6%, which better promoted regional industrial transformation and economic development. Huzhen Town achieved a regional production value of 8.055 billion yuan and a fixed asset investment of 4.96 billion yuan, successfully completing the development goal of small cities at the beginning of the year.
Weng Jianrong affirmed the cultivation of small towns in the machine town and the town of Huzhen Town. He asked the machine towns to be “extraordinary and strong” in the industry, “combination and function”, “small and beautiful”, and “new and live”. In terms of precision, we will give full play to the role of characteristic towns in promoting industrial transformation and upgrading and urban-rural integration; Huzhen Town will further accelerate the construction of key projects, improve the functions of small cities, and improve the comprehensive carrying capacity.
